Our Philosophy
Our Philosophy
Fiduciary duty is at the heart of everything we do—we put our clients’ best interests first every time. The goal at Kuipers Advisors is to deliver the personalized service of a small firm with the capabilities of a much larger one. Our investment strategy is focused on building diversified portfolios of actively managed mutual funds, individual stocks, exchange-traded funds and quantitative strategies that match our clients’ risk comfort level and long-term investment goals. Coupled with financial planning, we provide a comprehensive suite of wealth management services.

Our Guiding Principles
An Investment Adviser You Can Talk To
At Kuipers Advisors we talk with you, not at you. We listen to what you tell us. We take the time to get to know our clients as individuals with unique goals and aspirations. We believe the only way to effectively manage your wealth is to partner with you.
Your Concerns Are as Important as Your Returns
Managing risk is the key to our investment approach. After all, what good is a rocketship portfolio if you can’t sleep at night? We focus on portfolio managers with a track record of meeting or exceeding their benchmarks with less risk. Then we create diversified portfolios to provide both downside protection and upside opportunity.
Buy the Manager, Not the Fund
When you invest in an actively managed mutual fund, what you are really buying is the services of the portfolio manager. We do the hard work of identifying managers who have added the most value over time. We also get to know our managers intimately: Their biases, their strengths, their weakness and their preferred market conditions.
Time in the Market
We believe that patience and time in the market—not market timing—are vital to investment success. This discipline means that we put short-term market and headline volatility into perspective and never lose sight of our clients’ long-term goals.
Investments in securities do not offer a fix rate of return. Principal, yield and/or share price will fluctuate with changes in market conditions and, when sold or redeemed, you may receive more or less than originally invested. No system or financial planning strategy can guarantee future results. Therefore, no current or prospective client should assume that future performance or any specific investment, investment strategy or product will be profitable.
